Wonderific Labs ("we," "us," "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what rights you have over it.

1. Information We Collect

When you visit our site, place an order, or sign up for our free educator resource, we may collect:

• Contact details: name, email address, phone number, shipping address
• Payment information, processed securely through Shopify Payments. We do not store your card details ourselves
• Order history and purchase details
• Email address and any details provided when signing up for our newsletter or the free Te Whāriki curriculum links sheet
• Technical information collected automatically, such as browser type, device information, and how you use our site (via cookies and analytics)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Process, pack, and ship your order
• Send order confirmations and shipping updates
• Respond to enquiries you send us
• Send marketing emails, only if you've opted in, which you can unsubscribe from at any time
• Understand how our site is used, so we can improve it
• Meet our legal and accounting obligations

3. Who We Share Information With

We don't sell your personal information to anyone. We do share limited information with:

• Shopify, our ecommerce and payment platform
• NZ Post or our chosen courier, who need your name and address to deliver your order
• Our email marketing provider, if you've subscribed to updates
• Judge.me, our review platform, which may email you requesting a review after your purchase, and which stores any reviews, star ratings, or photos you choose to submit
• Analytics providers (e.g. Google Analytics), to understand site traffic

Each of these providers only receives what they need to do their job, and is bound by their own privacy and data protection obligations.

4. Reviews

We use Judge.me to collect and display product reviews. If you leave a review, this may include your name, review content, and any photos you choose to upload. Judge.me may also send you a follow-up email requesting a review after your purchase, based on our settings. You can contact Judge.me directly, or contact us, if you'd like your review data corrected or deleted.

5. Cookies

Our site uses cookies to remember your cart, understand site traffic, and improve your browsing experience. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work as intended if you do.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information, including relying on Shopify's secure, PCI-compliant checkout for payment processing. No online system is 100% secure, but we work to keep your information safe.

7. Your Rights

Under New Zealand's Privacy Act 2020, you have the right to:

• Ask us what personal information we hold about you
• Ask us to correct any information that's wrong or out of date
• Ask us to delete your information, subject to any legal requirement we have to keep certain records (e.g. for accounting purposes)

In the unlikely event of a data breach that could cause you serious harm, we'll notify both you and the NZ Privacy Commissioner, in line with our obligations under the Privacy Act 2020.

If you're visiting or ordering from outside New Zealand, please note your information will be processed in New Zealand and through our service providers, which may be located overseas (e.g. Shopify's servers).
